Leaving your hotel in Alexandria with your luxury vehicle. A total of 225 km (around 3 h drive) will take you to Cairo Africa’s largest city. Your first stop will be at the western plateau of Giza, where a panoramic view of the only remaining wonder of the Ancient world The Great Pyramid of king Cheops still stands and offering great opportunities for photographs. You will board your vehicle and proceed to Sakkara, the necropolis for the Ancient Egyptian capital, Memphis. Saqqara features numerous pyramids, including the world famous Step pyramid of Zoser, sometimes referred to as the Step Tomb due to its rectangular base, as well as a number of mastabas. Your lunch will be served at the local restaurant then you will visit the Papyrus institute where a demonstration will introduce you to the art of papyrus making from reeds, a technique discovered by the ancient Egyptian.Free time for souvenir shopping will also be allocated before you commence your return drive to Alexandria.
